Rush · Koka — Sengoku Daimyo AoE4
Three Yatai, then Koka (0:00–5:00)
Click up at 3:18 with 16 villagers, three Yatai already out and 10 villagers on wood; Koka Township opens Age II at 5:00.
- 0:00 — 1 villager builds a Matsuri on gold, near wood if possible, then mines there; 3 others mine gold and 2 chop wood. The Town Center rallies on food.
- 0:30 — Buy wood at the Matsuri with gold, then produce the first Yatai: on the boar or the deer, with berries next to it if possible.
- 1:00 — One villager builds a Farmhouse on the berries.
- 1:25 — Second Yatai, bought the same way: on the deer.
- 2:17 — Third Yatai, between the sheep and the berries, next to the Town Center. The 2 woodcutters leave the straggler trees for food.
- 3:18 — Age up with Koka Township: 3 miners and 1 new villager build it. Just before, new villagers went to gold (6 miners).
- 3:25 — 8 of the 9 food villagers move to wood: Lumber Camp, and rally on wood.
- 4:00 — The villager left on food builds a Farmhouse; research Tawara. 10 on wood is enough for 2 Stables and a Daimyo Estate; aim for 13 to add an Archery Range.
Stables, Daimyo, then Brewery (5:00–14:10)
Get Yari Cavalry and Yumi Ashigaru out from 5:40 with 23 villagers, place the Takeda Clan Daimyo Estate at 6:25, then start the Sake Brewery at 13:30 to reach Age III at 14:10.
- 5:00 — Age II: the Koka Township builders go back to food, and so does the rally. 2 woodcutters build a Stable and an Archery Range; Double Broadax, Takezaiku and a fourth Yatai.
- 5:40 — Production starts: Yari Cavalry and Yumi Ashigaru, without a break.
- 6:25 — Takeda Clan Daimyo Estate, then a Daimyo in production.
- 6:45 — Rally on food. When food piles up, rally on gold for Age III, or on wood for more Stables and Archery Ranges.
- 7:15 — A Forge on the stone; Steeled Arrow or Iron Undermesh, and Tatara.
- 12:30 — Wood villagers move to gold: Age III has to be paid for.
- 13:30 — Age up with the Sake Brewery: 14 food villagers build it.
Every unit upgrade (14:10)
Brewery done at 14:10, with 46 villagers (16 on food, 8 on wood, 22 on gold): every unit upgrade, then more Daimyo.
- 14:10 — Every unit upgrade: Upgrade to Veteran (Yari Cavalry), Upgrade to Veteran (Yumi Ashigaru).
- — Place another Takeda Clan Daimyo Estate, then a third one later.
Tips
- Against a knight civilization, keep only 10 villagers on wood: two Stables of Yari Cavalry and the Daimyo Estate are enough, and a mass of yari can counter them.
- With 13 villagers on wood, the Stable comes with an Archery Range: Yari Cavalry in front, Yumi Ashigaru behind.
- Three Yatai are enough to send 8 food villagers to wood the moment you click up, at 3:25.
- Place the Matsuri on gold and next to wood, or between the gold and a straggler tree near the Town Center: if it sits alone, the enemy attacks it to cut off the gold and the Yatai (a note from betelgeuse).
- Variant: ElPavelo swaps Koka Township, a military landmark, for the Ryokan, an economic landmark, when the opponent has no Feudal knights.
