Feudal pressure — Order of the Dragon AoE4
Gold, wood, landmark at 2:30 (0:00–4:30)
A few villagers on gold and wood, an Age II landmark started at 2:30 with 2 villagers, and a Barracks on the way: Age II at 4:30 with 16 villagers.
- 0:00 — The 5 Gilded Villagers on food.
- — The first villager produced builds a House and then a Mining Camp, and goes to gold.
- — The next villager also goes to gold: 2 miners.
- — The next 3 villagers go to wood.
- — The next one goes back to food.
- 2:30 — Build the Age II landmark with 2 food villagers.
- — The next 5 villagers go to food, and one of them builds a Barracks.
Forge, Stable, first attack (4:30)
Blacksmith at 5:00, Stable at 5:30, then the first attack at 7:00 with 23 villagers, 16 of them on food.
- 4:30 — Landmark done: the 2 builders go back to food.
- 5:00 — Blacksmith; one more villager on wood.
- 5:30 — One more villager on gold, then every new villager on food. Build a Stable.
- 7:00 — Start attacking with Early Gilded Men-at-Arms and Gilded Horsemen, then with Gilded Spearmen.
Tips
- The build does not name the landmark: for feudal pressure, ChinoCochino recommends the Meinwerk Palace, always placed forward; the Aachen Chapel is kept for the back.
- Order of the Dragon units are expensive and easy to overproduce: 2 to 4 Gilded Spearmen, or 2 to 4 Gilded Horsemen, used well, defend a whole base (ChinoCochino).
- Against the French, ChinoCochino builds a Barracks rather than a Stable: 4 Gilded Horsemen at most and 6 Gilded Spearmen at most, usually 2 Horsemen or 4 Spearmen, never both.
- Always keep 5 villagers on wild food: scout to find the first deer herd and move there as soon as possible (ChinoCochino).
