Fast Imperial · Gold reserve — Jin Dynasty AoE4
Gold mining, Mill and Pagoda (0:00–4:50)
Mine enough gold (1,225) with the first Mounted Villagers, start the Flower Pagoda at 3:30, and switch the workforce to hunting around 4:50 with 13 villagers.
- 0:00 — 1 Mounted Villager hunts the reindeer under the Town Center, 2 mine gold.
- — If the Scout finds deer, kill 2 or 3, then send 3 Mounted Villagers there with a Mill and research Mohe Ancestry.
- 1:52 — The next villagers go to wood: one Mounted Villager gathers 30 wood before joining the gold, and so does one regular Villager; 2 Mounted Villagers mine gold.
- 2:44 — With 50 wood, a Villager builds a House.
- 3:30 — Age up: a regular Villager builds the Flower Pagoda, rally on the deer. Check that no rush is coming; at 10 Mounted Villagers, switch to regular Villagers.
Full bank and Dragon Pavilion (4:50–9:00)
Have 1,200 food and 600 gold banked by 5:42, then start the Dragon Pavilion at 6:20 with 10 builders, on a scouted spot that combines food and gold.
- 4:50 — Once 1,225 gold have been mined (600 of it kept in the bank), the miners switch to hunting the deer.
- 5:00 — Send the Scout to find a spot that combines food and gold: the Dragon Pavilion will go there.
- 5:42 — With 1,200 food and 600 gold banked, the Mounted Villagers walk to the scouted spot.
- 6:20 — Age up with the Dragon Pavilion: 10 builders. Then the Emissary heads to a neutral Trade Post, all Mounted Villagers mine gold, and the Flower Pagoda ability goes on gold.
1,200 gold for Age IV (9:00–11:20)
Fill the gold bank (1,200) for Age IV: 8 Mounted Villagers hunt the boar and only 2 mine, then the Great Wall Bastion is started at 10:10 with 28 villagers.
- 9:00 — With 1,200 gold already banked, 8 Mounted Villagers go to the boar; only 2 villagers still mine gold.
- 10:10 — Age up with the Great Wall Bastion: 8 builders; the other villagers cut wood (Flower Pagoda ability on the wood). The 4 Barracks builders go back to food.
Zhanma Swordsmen (11:20)
Reach Age IV around 11:20 with a Barracks already up, to produce the first Zhanma Swordsmen.
- 11:20 — Age IV reached: first Zhanma Swordsmen.
Tips
- Mine 1,200 to 1,300 gold with the first Mounted Villagers before sending them to hunt: that is the bank for the Age III click (boron06’s variant: at 1,300 gold mined, the miners move to the deer).
- At 3:30, check that the opponent is not preparing a rush: this slow plan does not survive early pressure.
- Scout a spot with food and gold for the Dragon Pavilion by 5:00: the whole team arrives with a full bank at 5:42.
- Variant: Mekanation (“eat the opponent’s food”) takes the opponent’s boar first, or its own if the first one lies on the path of the aggression; 6 Mounted Villagers go there at 4:40 with Hunting Tradition.
- This build is not aimed at battle: everything is timed for Age IV around 11:20, with Zhanma Swordsmen first.
