2 TCs · Age III — Ayyubids AoE4
Stone and the Culture Wing (0:00–2:50)
Click Culture Wing: Advancement - I at 1:20 with 10 villagers, and reach Age II at 2:50 with 14 villagers, 4 of them on stone, for the second Town Center.
- 0:00 — 6 villagers on sheep; the next 2 rally on a tree near the base.
- 0:05 — 1 villager builds the House of Wisdom near the base, then a House, then a Mining Camp on the stone, last and very close, to waste no time. It then mines the stone (queued command).
- 0:45 — The next 4 villagers rally on stone. The builder finishes the House of Wisdom and starts the House.
- 1:15 — The builder joins the Mining Camp. The first stone miner finishes his 10 stone before the camp is done: have him click the camp by hand so no time is lost.
- 1:20 — Age up with Culture Wing: Advancement - I. Do not cancel villagers #10 and #11 to go faster: keep producing, with enough food.
- 1:45 — At 4 stone miners, 1 sheep villager moves to a straggler tree, only once the next one is queued. Rally on wood, on the last tree, the fullest, until 7.
Second Town Center, farms, Golden Age (2:50–12:00)
Place the second Town Center at 3:33, have 23 villagers at 5:30 and 48 at 10:00, build for tier 1 of the Golden Age, then reach Age III at 12:00 with about 60 villagers.
- 2:50 — Age II done between 2:50 and 3:00. From there, play according to what you have learned about the opponent or the strategy chosen with your team.
- 3:30 — At 7 villagers on wood, rally on sheep until 8.
- 3:33 — Second Town Center: when 900 stone is left in the mine (or from 300 stone gathered), the 4 miners and 5 woodcutters build it, on wood and gold if possible, leaving room for Farms near both Town Centers.
- 3:40 — New villagers rally on wood.
- 4:10 — When there are no straggler trees left, 2 woodcutters move to sheep.
- 4:30 — Second Town Center done: the builders go to wood next to it (the wood is kept for the Lumber Camp).
- 5:00 — Rally on gold until 3: the first miner builds a Mill on the berries, then a Mining Camp on the gold (an Outpost for both if needed), and goes mining.
- 5:30 — Build according to the strategy, then rally on food until 20 to 22 to produce villagers and army without gaps.
- — Use 3 to 5 woodcutters to build everything: Houses and production buildings up to Golden Age tier 1, a Lumber Camp, a Blacksmith, then Double Broadax, Wheelbarrow, Horticulture and the right military upgrades. At 20 to 22 villagers on food, rally on wood.
- — With map control, expand towards berries, boar, deer and fish; without it, place Farms in advance around the second Town Center, with Palisades and an Outpost as soon as possible.
- 10:00 — For Age III, 21 of the 25 wood villagers are split between food and gold, according to what is missing: about 25 on food, 4 on wood, 20 on gold.
- — As soon as the resources are in, age up to Age III; the wing depends on the game: Military Wing: Reinforcement - II against cavalry; Economic Wing: Growth - II or Industry - II, gambles on economy or production; Trade Wing: Bazaar - II or Advisors - II, good in team games when you can protect your caravans. Military Wing: Master Smiths - II is probably the weakest.
Mosque, relics, upgrades (12:00)
Enter Age III at 12:00 with about 60 villagers (28 on food, 12 on wood, 20 on gold), then crush the opponent with upgraded units and relics.
- 12:00 — Upgrade the units as soon as you have more than 10, build a Mosque for the relics, take the Blacksmith and economy upgrades your production needs.
Tips
- Same opening as “Express second Town Center at 3:30”, but this build details what follows up to Age III at 12:00 and the choice of wing.
- Place the second Town Center on wood and gold at once, keeping room for Farms near each Town Center.
- Without map control, place Farms in advance around the second Town Center, with Palisades and an Outpost as soon as possible.
- Military Wing: Reinforcement - II against any cavalry civilization; Economic Wing: Growth - II is a gamble: the berries are often already gone.
- A wing takes 96 to 120 seconds to research: to be in Age III at 12:00, click around 10:00, right after splitting the villagers.
