2 TCs · Fast Feudal — Knights Templar AoE4
Express age-up (0:00–3:20)
Start Age II at 2:20 with 13 villagers (11 on food, 2 on gold), then split them right away: 7 on wood, 5 on stone for the second Town Center, 1 on food.
- 0:00 — 6 villagers on sheep; one of them builds a House.
- 0:20 — Rally on gold for 2 miners; the first builds a Mining Camp.
- 1:00 — The 2 miners are in place: rally back on sheep until the age-up.
- 2:20 — Age up with the Knights Hospitaller, at 13 villagers. Split right after: 7 on wood, 5 on stone, 1 on food.
Safe Passage, second Town Center (3:20)
Research Safe Passage, then build the second Town Center at 4:30 with the stone villagers, tucked away on deer, and prepare the counter-production.
- — Age II: queue one villager, then Safe Passage.
- 4:30 — The 5 stone villagers (and maybe a few woodcutters) build the second Town Center, tucked away, on deer.
- 5:00 — With 7 builders on the Town Center: scout the enemy base and build the matching counter-production (Barracks, Archery Range, Stable). If the opponent is not producing units, aim for a fast Age III.
- — Once the second Town Center is done: the old one rallies on gold until 5 miners, the new one on wood.
Tips
- Adapted by the author to the 2026 Town Center cost update: the stone gathered during the age-up pays for the second Town Center.
- Once the Town Center is under way, scout the opponent: if they are not producing units, aim for a fast Age III; otherwise build the counter-production that answers theirs.
- JampiX’s variant (“KT 2 TC 4m”): age-up at 2:30 with the Knights Hospitaller or the Principality of Antioch, second Town Center done at 4:00 on the deer, then 3 villagers on wood and the rest on food.
- Put the second Town Center tucked away on deer: villagers and food stay safe.
- The Knights Hospitaller are this build’s default advance; the Principality of Antioch works too, according to JampiX’s variant.
