2 TCs · Ryokan — Sengoku Daimyo AoE4
Three Yatai, Ryokan, stone (0:00–5:40)
Place three Yatai, click the Ryokan at 3:15 with only 2 villagers, gather 300 stone for the second Town Center, which goes down at 5:40 with 22 villagers.
- 0:00 — 1 villager builds the Matsuri on gold; 2 chop wood, 3 mine gold. When the 3 miners come back to the Town Center, they finish the Matsuri and drop off the gold; buy wood, then the first Yatai. The Town Center rallies on sheep until Age II.
- 0:56 — The Yatai comes out around 0:56: on the boar, or on the deer if berries are nearby. The second sheep villager builds a Farmhouse.
- 1:10 — After the Farmhouse, 1 woodcutter goes to sheep and 1 to gold. For every 130 gold, buy wood and then a Yatai, three in total: two outside the base (one on the boar, another somewhere safe) and the third in the base, on sheep and berries.
- 2:37 — After 200 gold gathered, all the miners move to wood.
- 3:15 — Age up: 2 sheep villagers build the Ryokan next to the Town Center.
- 3:40 — 5 sheep villagers go to stone and build a Forge; only one villager stays on sheep, everyone else on wood. Rally on stone up to 6 on stone, then on wood.
- 5:10 — At 300 stone, all the stone villagers move to wood, waiting for the second Town Center.
Second Town Center on wood (5:40)
Place the second Town Center at 5:40 with 9 wood villagers, then choose between a mass of Mounted Samurai, Spearmen or Yumi Ashigaru.
- 5:40 — Age II: 9 wood villagers build the second Town Center. The Ryokan builders go to food.
- — With two Town Centers, what follows is a mass of Mounted Samurai, Spearmen or Yumi Ashigaru, your choice.
Tips
- Place the second Town Center on deer or on gold, or next to the Matsuri if it is forward: that way it protects it (CloudX3rO’s variant).
- Three Yatai: two outside the base, one in the base on sheep and berries. Keep them as safe as you can, they feed the boom.
- Variant: CloudX3rO, for team games, ages up with 2 food villagers, 3 against an aggressive civilization, and moves all villagers gathering food to stone: 300 stone arrives faster than 400 wood.
- Variant: Skimsh gathers an extra 150 gold for Tawara before sending all the miners to stone, and leaves the choice between Ryokan and Koka Township.
