Rush · Meinwerk — Holy Roman Empire AoE4
Meinwerk Palace at 2:20 (0:00–4:00)
Click up at 2:20 with 13 villagers: 4 build the Meinwerk Palace and 2 cut wood. Age II at 4:00 with 18 villagers.
- 0:00 — 3 villagers on food, one of them building a House, and 3 on gold. The Prelate alternates between gold and food until 8 villagers are on food.
- 2:20 — Age up: 4 villagers build the Meinwerk Palace; 2 others on wood, with the rally on wood and a Lumber Camp as soon as possible.
Non-stop production (4:00)
Produce Early Men-at-Arms and Archers or Horsemen without interruption from 5:10, with a second military building at 6:00.
- 4:00 — Age II: the 4 Palace builders go to food. A new Prelate, Double Broadax, and 1 villager builds a Barracks.
- 4:40 — 1 villager builds a Stable or an Archery Range; a Mill and Horticulture as soon as possible.
- 5:10 — Early Men-at-Arms and, your pick, Archers or Horsemen non-stop; research the Meinwerk Palace technology.
- 6:00 — A new military building (Stable, Archery Range or Barracks); move villagers off wood if needed.
Tips
- Pick the production building according to the opponent: a Barracks against cavalry, a Stable against archers, an Archery Range against spearmen (slower to develop).
- Against enemy Spearmen or Horsemen, research Awl Pikes in the Meinwerk Palace.
- Place the Prelates with the villagers (on deer, for example) for the bonus; add food villagers as soon as you feel limited, with an Outpost and a Mill on the deer.
- Variant: Melclem starts the Palace at 2:35, adds 3 villagers to it at 3:20, puts down a Mill at 5:20 with a second military building, then Steeled Arrow and Iron Undermesh around 6:15 while moving 5 wood villagers to food.
- If the opponent stays under their Town Center, go to Age III and bring Battering Rams to destroy buildings outside the Town Center’s range.
