Barracks · 2 TCs — House of Lancaster AoE4
Barracks before the House (0:00–5:00)
Build the Barracks before the House, make at most 2 Spearmen, then age up at 3:05 with 15 villagers (4 builders, 4 on stone) and reach Age II at 5:00 with 20 villagers.
- 0:00 — A Barracks first, then a House: 3 villagers on food, 2 on wood, 1 builder.
- 0:40 — Spearmen, up to 2 only if you cannot do damage.
- 1:47 — Off to the gold: 3 miners.
- 3:05 — Age up (the author does not name the landmark) with 4 builders and 4 villagers on stone. A House; rally on wood.
Manor, second Town Center, production (5:00)
Put a Manor down at 5:00 and the second Town Center at 6:00, then go to Double Broadax and a Mill before starting the Barracks, Archery Range and Blacksmith around 8:00: 35 villagers at 9:30.
- 5:00 — Age II at 5:00: a Manor.
- 6:00 — The second Town Center, built by 8 villagers.
- 7:00 — Wood goes up to 14 villagers, gold to 5.
- 7:20 — Double Broadax and a Mill.
- 8:00 — A Barracks and an Archery Range; a food upgrade (Horticulture).
- 8:30 — A Blacksmith; Spearmen, Yeomen and Lords of Lancaster.
- 9:30 — Farms, and villagers to gold.
Tips
- No more than 2 Spearmen at the start: if they cannot do damage, they are of no use.
- Age II at 5:00, second Town Center at 6:00: this build does not aim for Age III and stops around 9:30 with the Farms.
- Real production (Spearmen, Yeomen, Lords) only starts at 8:00-8:30, after Double Broadax and the Mill: economy first.
- It is “aggressive” only through the Barracks built before the House; after that the plan is that of a classic 2 TC.
