Royal Knights and Archers (4:25)
Keep a constant stream of troops arriving behind the first 2 Royal Knights, with Archers in support, then protect them from Spearmen with an Archery Range.
- 4:25 — Age II: the School of Cavalry is done (its 2 builders leave it). Produce Royal Knights without waiting.
- 5:40 — An Archery Range as soon as possible, to protect the Royal Knights from enemy Spearmen.
- — Upgrade Jeanne d'Arc - Peasant into Jeanne d'Arc - Woman-at-Arms, then send her to fight with the army.
Tips
- Keep sending new troops behind the first 2 Royal Knights, with Archers in support: the rush loses its point if the Knights stay on their own.
- Spearmen counter heavy melee cavalry: as soon as the opponent makes some, the Archery Range becomes the priority.
- Variant by Valdemar (“JD Aggression”): after finding deer, 5 villagers gather 50 wood and build a House, then a Mill with Survival Techniques and Wheelbarrow. Jeanne and 3 sheep villagers start the School of Cavalry at 3:13; Age II at 4:37, then Specialized Pick and a Royal Knight.
- Variant by nini (same plan): School of Cavalry at 2:25 with 3 builders, Age II at 4:05, Jeanne as Woman-at-Arms at 5:25, then 5 food villagers build a Mill and an Outpost near a boar at 5:45.
- ImpulseGold’s variant: School of Cavalry at 3:00 with 4 then 6 builders, Specialized Pick, Double Broadax and a Royal Knight at 4:30, then a Stable, the Woman-at-Arms and pressure on the opponent’s gold.
