2 TCs · Fast — Ayyubids AoE4
Stone and an age-up at 1:10 (0:00–2:50)
Click Culture Wing: Advancement - I at 1:10 with 9 villagers, then reach Age II at 2:50 with 14 villagers, 4 of them on stone.
- 0:00 — 5 villagers on sheep; the sixth builds the House of Wisdom, a House, then a Mining Camp on the stone, and stays there to mine. Rally on wood until 2.
- 1:00 — The 2 wood villagers work straggler trees; rally on stone until 4 miners, the builder included.
- 1:10 — Age up with Culture Wing: Advancement - I at the House of Wisdom: 200 food and 100 gold, 20% faster than the other wings.
- 1:40 — Once the Town Center has a villager queued, 1 sheep villager moves to wood. New villagers aim at different straggler trees.
- 2:00 — Rally on wood.
Second Town Center, then production (2:50)
Place the second Town Center at 3:30 with 300 stone and 400 wood, finish it at 4:20, then open production at 5:15 with 23 villagers and take the three economic upgrades before 7:00.
- 2:50 — Age II arrives. 6 villagers on wood, 4 on stone: everything points at the second Town Center.
- 3:20 — Rally on food.
- 3:30 — At 300 stone gathered (900 left in the mine) and 400 wood, force the drop-off: the 4 miners and 5 woodcutters build the second Town Center, then go back to wood.
- 4:00 — Every Town Center rallies on wood: it is needed for the tier 1 Golden Age buildings. 2 woodcutters move to food.
- 4:20 — Second Town Center done. A Mining Camp on the gold, a Mill and a House: these buildings count towards the Golden Age (tier 1: +10% gathering, from 10 buildings around the House of Wisdom).
- 4:40 — At 12 villagers on wood, rally on gold until 3 miners.
- 5:15 — A Stable and an Archery Range, or other production depending on the opponent; rally on food, then produce units.
- 6:40 — Wheelbarrow, then Double Broadax, then Horticulture.
Tips
- Do not cancel villagers #10 and #11 to speed up the age-up, and keep enough food for the Town Center to produce without a break (a note from betelgeuse).
- Place the second Town Center on wood and gold at once, leaving room for Farms near both Town Centers (betelgeuse’s variant).
- For Age III, think of Military Wing: Reinforcement - II, or Economic Wing: Growth - II if you want to gamble on economy.
- If the opponent goes up to Castle at the same time, all the wood moves to food and gold, with the economic upgrades and Palisades if needed (ww’s variant).
- Variant: Skimsh turns it into a 3 Town Center build for team games: second Town Center at 3:33, third around 5:59 with 14 villagers on wood.
