- 4:00 — Age II: research Fertile Crescent and Fresh Foodstuffs.
- 4:50 — The wood villagers build the second Town Center, next to the stone; the 6 miners keep working.

Tips
- The 3 gold miners leave the vein only at 150 banked gold: enough to pay for Fertile Crescent and Fresh Foodstuffs, to research as soon as Age II arrives.
- Put the second Town Center next to the stone: the wood villagers build it, and the miners drop off right beside it.
- Place the Houses inside the aura of the House of Wisdom, built at 0:20, to move toward the Golden Age.
- Variant: Bastos places the second Town Center as early as 4:20 with 7 stone villagers, an Archery Range at 5:40 and the third Town Center at 6:00; he then plans a Stable, a Barracks and a Blacksmith.
