2 TCs · Camels — Abbasid Dynasty AoE4
Economic Wing at 2:15 (0:00–4:00)
Click Economic Wing - I at 2:15 with 12 villagers, then put 4 villagers on stone: Age II at 4:00 with 18 villagers.
- 0:00 — 6 villagers on berries; one of them builds a House, a Mill and the House of Wisdom. Rally on gold, with a Mining Camp, until 2 miners.
- 0:40 — The first 2 villagers produced are on gold. Rally on sheep until the age-up.
- 2:15 — Age up with Economic Wing - I; 5 food villagers go to wood.
- 2:20 — Rally on stone until 4 villagers.
- 3:40 — 4 villagers on stone: the rally goes back to wood.
Second Town Center and trade (4:00)
Research Fertile Crescent and Fresh Foodstuffs from 4:00, place the second Town Center at 4:50 with 20 villagers, then build a Market to prepare the Traders.
- 4:00 — Age II: research Fertile Crescent; 2 more villagers on wood.
- 4:25 — Research Fresh Foodstuffs; 1 more villager on wood.
- 4:50 — Build the second Town Center near food and rally on food. Start gathering stone for a wall. Prioritize the Market before training Traders, as the author advises.
- — Target economy: 50 villagers on food, 20 on wood and 20 on gold, with 30 to 40 Traders (some will die), to keep Camel Riders coming.
Tips
- The Market comes before the Traders, says the author: plan for 30 to 40 Traders, a share of which will be lost on the way.
- This build takes Valdemar’s and tweaks it slightly: it is the 2 TC base that the other variants adjust.
- Variant: Staneman waits until the gold vein reads 3,750 out of 4,000 to send every villager to build the Town Center at the edge of the woodline; at 6:00 he puts 4 villagers back on gold and the rest on wood.
- Variant: raspoutek adapts the second Town Center to the opponent: against a passive player, 2 more villagers on the Town Center and then on stone; against an aggressive one, everything to wood and rally on food.
- Variant: joke less follows the second Town Center with 2 Stables and an Archery Range (30 villagers), for cavalry as early as Age II.
